Hi @aslam44 ,

You can upgrade the RAM to 8GB as the laptop has two memory slots that can each handle 4GB PC3 8500 RAM modules.

You can replace the HDD with an SSD. Here’s a video that shows how to do it.

You cannot upgrade the GPU as it is hard mounted onto the motherboard.

Here’s a link to the service manual for the laptop which may help with the replacement of the RAM and the HDD

Would be cheaper if you bought a Ryzen 5 Laptop with a GTX graphics.

As already mentioned by jayeff, the ram and storage upgrades are very much possible. You can choose to buy an eGPU device to use your graphics card with the laptop, but I wouldn’t recommend this unless you already own the card and have $40-50 to spare. The eGPU adapters can connect with Expresscard or mPCIe, but either one will work okay. Of course, your graphics card will be slowed down by the single PCIe lane and the i5 M 560 CPU, but it is certainly possible. In short, yes you can, but you would probably be better off buying a newer laptop for the same amount.
