Why won’t my controller charge?

Hey, so I just got this website for one question. I have a DualShock 4 controller, and multiple plugs that used to work, but now when I plug it in, they won’t charge it. This Happened for both of my controllers, and I can’t turn them on at all, or charge them, and I don’t know what to do. The chargers are kind of loose when plugged in, but all of them are so I don’t think that could be it. I need help, and I don’t know what to get to fix my issue. Anyone?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

were you charging it from a wall outlet, or from the playstation

Update (10/20/2019)

most times if you charge the controller using a wall outlet, it will charge at 12 volts. the controller charges at 5 volts, so you fried the charging board inside the controller. you can get a new one here. if you charge from the wall again just make sure to use a 5 volt wall adapter.

I’ve tried both, and neither have worked.

but when it stopped working were you charging with a wall outlet.

because if you did, it sometimes breaks the USB port on the controller, and therefore you wont be able to charge it.
