How to evaluate DCS WX 500 if repairable, after dropping

I dropped my DCS-WX500 on hard surface. How can I evaluate if it is repairable?

Jaime Garcia Jr that will depend on what is broken and what your camera does right now. LCD’s and lenses are readily available as well as used cases etc. So you will need to be a bit more specific about what is going on with your camera.

Oldturkey03, thanks for the quick comments. The camera condition after dropping was: the telescopic tube was stacked at approximately 1/3 out; I tried to operate the zoom in/out lever, nothing happens; I thought pushing it in would help and so I did and it got stacked at all the way in position. The screen looks undamage. Is there anything I can do to go forward and evaluate the condition ?

@Jaime Garcia Jr that sound slike a stuck lens which would be a common failure. You can try the tricks as listed on here http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12... or ultimately replace the lens.
