MacBook Air Logic Board Replacement

Hi, I planning to upgrade my Early 2014 MacBook Air 4 GB RAM/128 GB SSD specifically for RAM. Since this is known topic we can’t upgrade RAM, Could we upgrade the entire logic board which boasts 8 GB RAM with same 1.4 GHz i5 Processor spec on to existing one.

Yes, you can replace your logic board with another which has 8 GB of RAM and then transfer your current SSD over to it.

As to which board you can stay with a 1.4 GHz i5 board or with the 1.7 GHz i7 board. This is where your needs and how much you can spend come to play.
