touch is not working

My iPhone 7 fell off of my bed and now the touch screen doesn’t work. Is there a cable that just fell off or is it something bigger??

thank you guys, I will try taking it apart again, I was messing in it a few weeks ago so I will check it out

I can think of a few troubleshooting options you can try. First you will need to get tools to take apart the phones display. But be careful the ribbon connecting the LCD to the motherboard. I that ribbon is ripped we don’t want to damage it any farther. The problem could be the ribbons {IF} that is the problem you got off the hook all you do replace them. If the ribbon is fine no tears or any thing indicating it has been damaged. Then the LCD and screen you will have to replace that.

Try a simple hard reset first. Simply hold the POWER and VOL DOWN buttons for 10 seconds until the phone restarts.

If you are still having issues, it could be a damaged screen assembly. If you have opened the device before, it is possible that the screen connector came loose and a simple reconnect to the logic board will fix the problem.
