Replacement for black gaskets on pentalobe screws?!

Hi everyone,

after replacing my iPhone 7 battery I very foolishly lost the black gaskets that go on the screw bosses on the bottom part of the display to seal the hole for the pentalobe screws.

Can anyone point me to a possible source for a replacement? Unfortunately, I only ever seem to find the adhesive to seal the display itself.

Any ideas and hints would be much appreciated!

Best,

Joseph

To be honest, I don’t know how effective they would be even if you did replace them. There is no way the phone retains it’s IP67 specifications after a repair. Even if you diligently put the screen adhesive in place, this is nothing like a robotic installation under clean room environment. Telling a customer the phone is still water resistant is opening yourself up for issues down the road.
