SSD upgrade causes iMac 2015 to freeze after minutes of use

I upgrade my iMac to an SSD and once it boots up after minutes during use it will freeze completely and will not be responsive to anything. I have enabled TRIM settings but find that it is still doing the same thing. What comes next?

Can you tell us more details on which model iMac you have as well as the exact SSD you used (make, model and interface SATA or PCI).
