WiFi and Bluetooth not working - Where is the chip on the board?

First off, I don’t have any waranty through Huawei!

Hi dear iFixit community,

I have a problem with my P30 Pro. My WiFi and Bluetooth are both dead. When I turn the toggle on it stays on for 1-2 seconds and turns it self off. It doesn’t scan for any networks though as it stays blank. So could anyone please tell me the location of the wifi chip on the logicboard? The teardown left me clueless..

It had a drop damage and got an entire new Housing/Oled Display assembly (Original Huawei part). Celular data etc. still work though.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Musti,

before trying to attempt a difficult repair like trying to fix the wifi chip, you could see if all the connectors have been seated correctliy during the last repair. It is possible, that the person that swapped your screen forgot to reattach the wifi antenna or accidentally damaged the antenna cable. Those would be easier to fix problems.
