High Fan RPM and No Airport Hardware Found

Hi

I bought a 2nd HDD adapter for superdrive slot.

When tried to install i accidentally broke a piece of the camera cable connector.

In theory is a camera cable but I am experiencing more problems.

This is a photo of the connector:

The System boots and works normally but in the airport icon shows a NO Airport hardware found.

In addition the speed of the fans is very high freshly booted the system. The temperature of the system is low.

That you think may be happening.

Thanks for all

It is quite obvious: The cable connects camera and airport card to the logic board. I'm not shure but i think there is even a themp. senor for the LCD - if that can't be read the fans will ramp up.

Judging from your pictures you might still have a chance to connect the cable and secure it afterwards with thermal resistant tape such as kapton.

Hi remacberlin

I tried to conect the connector and fits well but i think that any pin is damaged.

One question, above the connector have a padded sticker, this is necessary to works the connector?

You can leave the pad off, no problem. Try (very carefully) to correct the bent pin with a needle or similar.
