Broken charging port - can't fasten screws

Hi all,

I have received an iPad Pro 9.7” recently to check if I can repair it.

Strong physical force has been put on the charging port while charging and as a result the charging port is now completely lose.

After opening the device I noticed the screws broke out parts of the aluminium body therefore I can’t fasten them anymore.

I know I can exchange the whole body but maybe you guys have a ‘cheaper’ solution for me.

Cheers

How cheap of a solution do you require for a component that appears to be selling for between $6 - $12 online?

You really have nothing to lose by trying a very good glue like B-7000 or E6000 to get it into place and then maybe you can spot weld it to help insure it stays in place.
