Cant get the lens off
My camera is a Canon 77D….I may have put the lens on wrong to begin with, but now I cant get it off. It doesnt even lock on when you turn it clockwise. But when you turn it counterclockwise, the lens wants to let go or release at the bottom, but the top will no let go. Again, this looks like an error of not attaching it correctly. But there was no forcing it on, it attached easily.

Just a thought but the Owner's Manual states that the camera must be powered off before attempting to remove the lens. Could also be the lens-release button components themselves are malfunctioning by not releasing the top catch (sorry I do not know if this is an electronic or mechanical based release mechanism.)
