My earbuds won’t retract. LGHBS835S

The wire won’t retract so earbuds are dangling. I have the version that is supposed to retract when you pull on it.

i got this as a gift 2 months ago… please help. Thank you

Is there still warranty on it? I would return it, to get a new one or to get it fixed.
