Requires Many attempts to plug in to get it charging

Razer Blade 14 2015 model

the symptoms are as follows

• the battery works fantastic and lasts over 7 hours
• it takes several (many) attempts of plugging in the charger to get it to charge
• once it starts charging it stays charging
• i have replaced the power adapter with a brand new offical razer power adapter in the hopes it was the power lead, this didnt help, infact its less likely to get the laptop to start charging compared to the old one i have
• i took it for repair to a local PC repairer, I believe they attempted to fix the charging port and leads to the motherboard only

I believe its a faulty controller for the battery/charging, if the controller is part of the battery parhaps the whole battery needs to be replaced, or perhaps only the controller requires replacement
