Issues charging iPhone 6S after replacing battery

I purchased a new battery from iFixit (FTW) and after replacing and letting my battery drain, I started charging it to calibrate the battery. Unfortunately the battery will not charge and stays at 1%. It also restarts on occasion, then I see 100% battery life on the screen and then shuts off. When it restarts, I see 1% battery life on the screen.

I figured it out. I did not seat my battery connector properly. USER ERROR!

Probably got a bad part. This happens from time to time especially with batteries. Luckily, iFixit has a great return policy, so I’d reach out to support and get it replaced.

No, it was a good part. I did not take my time installing the battery. When I went through and checked my work, I saw I did not place the clip in properly.
