Will not power up

Daughter’s cat knocked over a glass of water onto MBA keyboard. She turned it upside down, mopped it and left it to dry for two days. Will no longer power up, however. It this something worth remediating?

Anyone know what is most likely damaged?

I can take it apart and am not intimidated by the process but it is long and intricate, I know, and although it was a perfectly adequate machine until this happened, wonder about the worth of trying to fix it – and, what most likely will need replacing.

Many thanks in advice for any insight.
