Backlight and touch working but no image

Well maybe you can help me.

The display on my iPad Pro 10.5” stays black even though the backlight is on. Sadly it is not displaying anything. The weird thing is that the backlight as well as the touch are still working (tested it with voice over).

I already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the display cables. Do any of you have an idea how to fix this?

Restore in iTunes didn‘t help either.

Hi @michael_r96

The only thing I can think of is some type of LCD failure or graphics issue with the logic board. If you have already removed the display to reconnect the cables, then you should order a replacement screen from a trusted source to see if it will fix your issue.

The only thing I can think of is either your LCD controller has failed or the GPU on your main logic board has stopped working. If you already have the device open, I would recommend you install a replacement screen assembly from a trusted source and see if that fixes your problem.

Well I replaced the screen and since then it’s working like a charm. Looks like something on the LCD Board itself was broken

I've had this exact problem with now 5 premium screens from mobile sentrix and injured gadgets. Either works for a week and goes out or doesn't work at all.

how do you know the touch is working if you do not have any display
