LCD screen broke, no display at all. Posisible repair shop ripoff.

The LCD screen on my A7 broke recently; the outer glass is intact, but the display is almost fully black with some artifacting on the bottom. It also doesn’t seem to respond to touch. I took it to a repair shop and they said they could replace it with a “low-sensitivity” screen that would cost $55, and a “high-sensitivity” that would be $75. When I look up screen replacements on eBay, some are like $200 and others just $35. What’s going on here? Maybe I’m just confused.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I don’t know what this low and high sensitivity thing is but it sounds like touch would be more laggier on the screen that’s $20 cheaper.

What I would be concerned about is whether or not the replacement screen is OLED or LCD (TFT) because the colors are going to look a lot worse on an aftermarket LCD screen. Originally the screens in these phones are OLED and not LCD.
