Is it possible to replace the right side fan?

The fan on the right side of my computer started making these really loud constant clicking/crackling noises. Im wondering if this is probably a broken fan or like trapped debris. And if is broken, would it be possible to replace the fan by myself? I checked the store for parts but there were only fan replacements for the 2016-17 models.

It’s a bit weird a fan goes bad that fast on an almost new Mac. If it’s still covered by Applecare I ‘d recommend not to touch anything and take it in for assistance. If warranty already expired before buying any part I would suggest making sure where the issue exactly comes from by opening bottom case and starting the Mac without it. On that Mac you will notice the easy approach “remove three screws and disconnect the fan” has gone for good. To access fans you’ll have to remove the logic board first. It’s not an impossible task but it takes lots of care and some tools. If you decide to go for it, don’t forget to always disconnect battery first. The iFixit teardown, although it’s not a repair guide, will at least give you an idea of what you can expect to deal with:
