The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 1998 in the United States. "C" indicated two-wheel drive and "K" indicated four-wheel drive. The aging C/K light-duty pickup truck was replaced with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra names in 1999 in the United States.

Picking up the pieces

Kinda need help putting my 454 big block engine back together. Bought a wiinabago a few monhs ago that need some work.Had a friend offer to help.Which was great till he got everthing dsasembled and then backed out on me .I knew enough to get the block put back together correctly with new parts. The hard part is finding out which brackets go where , where wire connections, and hoses go . Can you help

search for info on the original vehicle the 454 came out of, and then look for a diagram that shows the drive belt(s) routing around the alternator, power steering pump, water pump, etc., as this will enable you to see where these accessories are located, thus where the brackets should be. you’ll be able to determine what electrical connectors go to each of these primary accessories, as they are uniquely fitted. you can also look for both wiring and vacuum system diagrams to help you. (too late now, but pictures taken before and during the disassembly, and/or labeling of vacuum and electrical connectors, etc., is a good way to avoid this kind of dilemma.) Good Luck!
