iPod screen not fitting back into place - adhesive problem?

I just finished the long and painful process of replacing the screen on my iPod Touch. Unfortunately, it's not fitting back into place at the top of the iPod. Everywhere else it's flush, except for the top of the iPod. Any help would be appreciated.

I noticed this on one of mine. I didn't push the digitizer cable beyond the EMI shield which was part of the problem. It still wouldn't close all the way after applying new adhesive. I'm not sure, but I think the aftermarket LCD/digitizer are not made very well.

Where did you order your next LCD/digitizer from? Was it still "unflush" with the sides of the iPod? Thanks.

I bought it off ebay lol. I managed to get it to fit to my liking, but I think the problem might have been with the ipod's bezel. Not sure now; I don't have the ipod anymore.
