iPhone 6s water Damage
I walked into a river with my Iphone 6s and the water covered my phone just barely because it was in my pocket and the water was waist high. The phone was submerged for less than five seconds and i immediately got out and dried my phone off and set it upright on a dry towel to dry off. It worked fine after I dried it off and I let it sit for an hour (powered on) and tried using it before the screen went out and showed red, green and blue lines at random intervals when powered on. The processing of the phone was fine for a day or two afterward as I could send texts and call with siri by holding the home button. A few hours after I got home from my vacation the phone screen started working again and I tried putting in my pass-code and it got stuck on the last digit. Then I put the phone in a container with desiccant overnight and now it wont power on. As I type this it is still in the container with D-Desiccant industrial grade. I am wondering what to do to save the phone. My dad says he doesn’t want to open it up and the store we usually go to has already closed tonight and is closed tomorrow. What do i need to do to increase the chances of the phone being okay?
Is this a good question?
