Computer not recognizing iPhone ANYWHERE

Hi,

I have use NZXT computer at work, and no matter what I’ve done (tried switching ports, plugs, even different iPhones) when I plug my iPhone into my computer, it doesn’t recognize it at all- aside from charging it. It doesn’t show up in Device Manager, doesn’t come up in iTunes, or any other folder or location that I’ve come across in various online forum suggestions. It’s as if the computer has no idea that anything is even attached to it.

Can anyone help me diagnose what may be going on and how to fix it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you checked in the bios? You might need to brute format a version of your phone’s storage before you can be able to access any of the data, due to how apple locks down their lightning charger, and make it nearly impossible to transfer files from you phone to your computer, or vise versa.

Thanks for the response. How do I do this?

Actually, you don't need to go into the bios. Try going into disk management. Do you see your phone storage amount in the disk management software? Sorry for taking a while to come back.

It could be because file transfer has not been enabled on your iPhone. When you connect your phone to your computer, swipe down from the top of the screen and see if it offers a list of options for what to do with the connection. Data transfer should be one of the options.

Thanks for the answer. Usually when an iPhone is recognized by a computer, a little box comes up prompting you to allow it to access your photos. This box doesn't come up. Also, in the past when I've experienced non-connection issues, my phone has at least showed up in other internal areas. Not here. It's absolutely nowhere on my computer, at all.
