LCD screen does not work

I am was disassemble my iPhone 3GS to replace the battery. During the connecting cables display, I carelessly pressed the button and the phone screen lights up with white light for one second and gone out. After connecting all cables and final assembly of the phone, I discovered that the display does not work - no backlight, no image, digitizer does not work. These are some problems with the display or not fully connected cables?

best idea is to recheck your connections. try holding home and power for 10 seconds to reset phone. Plug the phone in to itunes and see if the phone is still recognised....if still no display then it's a new LCD for you.
