MacBook Upper case Assembly Purchase

I want to order the MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Upper Case Assembly for my macbook. but im not sure if its gonna fix my issue. my issue is that the keyboard has been unresponsive however ive been using a USB Keyboard and a USB mouse to work it. would this Upper case assembly fix my Issue? i want to know before purchase

It might not be the keyboard it’s self. The battery can be pressing on the keyboard as well as its cable which can cause it to fail.

So for starters let’s check the battery. Install this gem of an app! CoconutBattery. Take a snapshot of the main window and post it here for us to see Adding images to an existing question.

You might also want to pop the bottom cover off to inspect the battery each cell should look flat and not like a pillow, yours should look like this:
