Home button not vibrating or functional to exit apps

My home button will sense my touch but not vibrate when I want to open my phone. It will not properly function to close an app after I have entered my pass code. I can turn on my AssistiveTouch and use the software home button. Is this an actual Home Button Problem or just a TAPTIC issue. I am hoping to get a clue before I order a new Vibrator.

Options

Try any other function giving haptic feedback such as sound setting or simply put the phone into silent mode, if you get vibe feedback it’s a home button issue.
