Startup anomaly after iPhone battery replacement

Just did a battery replacement on my iPhone 6 Plus and the phone won’t start up when I press the power button. Got it to start up eventually only by connecting the phone to a power source (PC/AC Adapter) and pressing the power button for 15-20 seconds (subsequent restarts were normal, the anomaly is present only in the first start up after installing the new battery). Is this normal?

If you disconnected the battery while the phone was still “on”, perhaps this caused the device to require a hard reset. If it is working properly now, just keep an eye out for any other abnormal behaviour. Otherwise, I think you’ll be fine.

This is normal on one of the software versions I cant remember which ios version but if u disconnect the battery the date and time went back and when it goes back the power button wouldn't work till u switched on the phone with a cable after that once the date and time sets the button works like normal :)

If u have that iOS version then that's what happens
