Hi @fryphilip

can be subjective, what do you intend to use for?

any overclocking? or stability?

using on what system?

mainboard model and brand?

asking those to ensure it is compactible on your system.

DDR4 is a standard that all manufactures of RAM need to meet. Even still there are different specs depending on the speed of the systems memory bus DDR4 SDRAM.

Let’s look at this like a car … Your car requires a curtain octane level of gas. It needs gas that is not below this level, in addition it does not make sense going to far the other way! So if you car only needed regular gas it makes no sense to use ultra-premium gas does it as you are paying for gas your car does not need.

OK getting back to your PC … Review your systems requirements. If you have built your own system then you will need to review the CPUs spec sheet and if you are overclocking see what the RAM I/O needs and if it needs be set at the higher clock rate, review the boards supported RAM as well. Alter the BIOS settings as required and then review the spec sheet of the RAM you are thinking on going with.

Again, make sure you meet the needed performance the system requires and don’t over do it!

BTW - RAM is not fixable its a replaceable part
