Places that pay for broken displays?

We are a repair shop and have stockpiled quite a few broken displays for Macbook Pros of all years and flavors. Someone said they thought PowerBookMedic.com offer money for broken displays, but I didn’t find that to be true.

Does anyone know of a place that offers anything for old broken displays?

As you’d expect, some are cracked with bad LCDs, some are just cracked. Some only show a backlight glow. Some have no backlight.

The biggest refurbishers are chinese, but I’ve no idea what their purchase channels are and if prices they are ready to pay may be interesting for you. I’d have a close look at eBay listings to identify bigger sellers of refurbished screens closer to you and contact them to offer your stock. I don’t think there’s any interest in screens with broken backlight though, to big of a headache to replace that I’d believe and one would have to source it from another screen anyways.
