What adhesive should I use for the keys?

So I lost a keycap a couple days ago. Order a replacement online and it came with both the keycap, butterfly mechanism, and the dome. The dome is glued to the pcb and holds the butterfly down and gives it tension. I screwed up the install and ruined the adhesive. It was a very thin transparent film that I don’t recognize. What should I use to replace the adhesive? It got the replacement from replacementlaptopkeys.

It’s best to get a fresh dome unit. Using anything but the correct thickness tape adhesive could cause more damage. Liquid glues could seep and the strength of the adhesive might not be strong enough.
