I just replaced my screen and my WIFI range is about 1/4 of what it used to be and my GPS is accurate to 3000 meters instead of 10 meters. What diagnostic steps can I take?

hi there i have the same problem the IPHONE 4 WIFI ANTENNA CONNECTOR FASTENING PIECE detached and i dont know how to get it back on please help withe a video of how to connect as most of the wifi and gps problems after screen replacement are due to this :)

thank you for that!! turns out i had it in the right place and wifi & data plan didnt work because the date and time had been altered... when returned to actual setting all is well :) ( i feel really silly hehe)
I found I had the wifi antenna connector fastening piece above the battery connector instead of below it. Switching it did not help my problem.

this little metal piece made my wifi work instantly, i went almost 2 weeks trying to figure out what went wrong after replacing my new screen.

And apple opened my iphone to replacing camera !!!

The wifi problem was caused by a small part breaking off the wifi antenna attached to the speaker assembly. I will replace it and check the GPS again.

I replaced the wifi antenna and it made no difference. :( I am still looking for the problem with my wifi.
