I’ve plugged my chromebook and the white light on the corner led light is on only while it’s plugged in but it is just a black screen and it’s been charging for 7 hours and won’t turn on and i’ve tried everything. holding power button, holding the power and reset button, turning up the brightness, etc.

May be a faulty battery that isnt accepting the charger port, or it may be a damaged motherboard or the battery is burnt out completely. Try replacing the battery first.

You’ve probably figured this out already, but here’s for the late-viewers. The Chromebook power shorted out on it. What you need to do is unplug the battery, and plug it back in. And then plug in the power cord, and it should start charging. We have this issue at my High School, I help fix every Chromebook that comes in.

Well if you bended your charger to plug in your computer and if you kept on doing that it would break the inside of your computer so you couldnt charge it.

my Dell 5190 Chromebook still does not turn on or charge or no light indicator how do you post a fix that I try unplugging my battery hold it for a minute plug it back in it still does not work can you find out how I can do it

when I plug in the power cord no nothing is making me frustrated I like to use this Chromebook for my siren test video I have another version of Chromebook it works it's a Dell 3110 that's just a school Chromebook my personal one is not working can you please help me

I have a Dell 5190 When I plug my charger to my chromebook it dosent charger and the light won't turn on and the computer dosent turn on just a black screen I tried hard reseting or watching a youtube video, It still dosent work.
