Glass/display perfect, but touch is wonky, what part do I buy?

Not sure what caused it but my iPad Pro has some areas (left side of screen) where touch is 100% unresponsive. In all other areas there are no issues at all. The front glass is in perfect condition, the display is also perfect, no dead pixels or anything going wrong. Would the digitizer be the part I should buy and replace ? All the standard, shut off, restart, etc methods already have been attempted.

Touchscreen panel is acting up and causing ‘dead spots’ on random areas of display.

Digitizer and LCD screen are fused on iPad Pro 10.5” - separation/bonding requires special tools which I don’t believe is a cost effective method for consumers to go for.

If you are going to perform this repair yourself, I recommend buying digitizer/LCD assembly instead - you’ll save a lot of time and $.

Review this and see if you can solve it with what they talk about: https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/iphone...

Otherwise try taking the display off and cleaning the glass on the inside. If that does nothing then yes the digitizer is the part that does that, so that would need to be replaced.
