Do these upgrades work? (Data Doubler and SSD Hard Drive)

Below are links to both a data doubler caddy and a 1TB SSD drive. My intention is to use the 2TB Hard Drive I already have installed as backup storage in place of my optical drive and the SSD as my primary. I would just like to make sure that these are compatible. I’m aware of the probable better options for a data doubler (especially the one sold on this site) but I am looking to save money on this purchase.

Let me know!

Stick with the Samsung drive as your system is only a SATA II (3.0 Gb/s). Some SSD's won't work at the slower SATA I/O, unlike the Samsung drive which does.
