Help! My Samsung tablet’sscreen won’t light up!

So my tablet screen won’t light up/ turn on. At first the entire tablet wouldn’t turn on or make a sound but, after charging it all last night the return and tab button light up. The whole tablet works perfectly fine the only thing that’s wrong is that the screen won’t turn on/light up. If anyone knows how I can make the tablet screen turn on or if anyone else has any information/tips please let me know in the comments.
