Hi

Screens have 2 anchor point the screws attach to.

Sometimes if there is big drop the anchor points break of the screen, resulting in the screws not being able to come out, but are also not attached to the screen.

Point being the screen will come out without take out the screws. If that is the case, just pry gently, dont use alot of force. If they arent attached to the screen then there will be literally no forec required.

If you are prying and the screws are not allowing you take off the screws, try to get a hold of a strong magnet, that usually helps getting those screws out

hope that helps

I usually use tweezers / razor blade / spudger to help get the screw out when turning anti-clockwise when they only spin.

I run into this problem from time to time. If you are having trouble getting the pentalobe screws to come out I would first suggest pressing down on the screen just above where the screws are. This can sometimes put enough tension on the screws to allow you to get them out. If you are still having a problem try using a magnetized screwdriver if you are not doing so already. Lightly place the screwdriver on the end of the screw and then slowly try to pull it out. If you are still not able to get the screw out you may just be able to pop the screen out. Sometimes the anchor points on the screen break off from the screen itself. If you try this just be careful.
