UNINSTALL JAVA , messed up my laptop

I made a BAD mistake. I installed JAVA and now I can not uninstall it. I went to the apps section and it is NOT listed. Java has really messed up my HP laptop. I am a senior citizen and I am limited in my knowledge. Please help me.

Hi @ramses2 ,

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and find the Java program in the list of programs. They should be listed alphabetically.

Click on the Java program to highlight it and there should be an “uninstall” option appear at the top of the list. Click on that and follow the prompts.

If you have Win 10 installed, to get to Control Panel, click on the Windows Start button (left side of Taskbar) and then type CP in the search box. Select the Control Panel desktop app option that appears to get to Control panel.

I can not access Java UNINSTALL anywhere. It is NOT listed on the apps page. Java has seriously messed up my laptop. Please help an old man who does not have much computer knowledge. Please speak to me as a child 'cause I'll get confused otherwise.
