Replace display, what glue?

Hello,

I am going to replace a display on a iPad pro 11.

The display I am buying do not have glue/tape preinstalled.

What is recommended to use on this model? Didn´t find too much on this model when googling.

I always use tesa tape on all tablets I repair. I do have to custom cut some bits using an exacto knife, but I get excellent hold and fit using it.

Thanks!

Should I just take the 1mm?

Do I tape all around the edges or only in certain spots?

Id probably go with the 1 mm. Once you take off the broken screen look at where the adhesive tape is on it and copy that.

I would also suggest that you place the device screen down with something heavy that can apply even pressure on the back of the device. This will help the adhesive stick better.

Yes ther is glue. The glue goes along the edge to hold it in place. Here is a top quality iPad Pro 11" (2018) Screen.
