iPhone 6 PP1v8 powerrail

Hello.

I have a iphone 6 with weird value on PP1v8 power rail.

It should show 1,8 V but it is showing 2,70 V . Does anybody have similar issue ?

DCPS show’s 0 Amp’s before powering it up.

PP_VCC_Main - OK

PP_BAT_VCC - OK

DCPS after pressing power button constant 0,22 Amp.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hei,

From the board right now is missing Tristar, Backlight IC and Display IC.

Should it be still showing normal values on PP1v8?

by

I would replace the 3 to see what happens after

by

But still - Shouldnt the PP1v8 still be 1,8 Volt's even if these chips are missing.

What component are you testing for 1v8
