Why does my brush roller stop turning when I move the handle from the upright park position?
On my Bissell edge.

Based on what you’ve described it could be a bad connection or damaged wire. try investigating the wire. Also ensure there is no fail safe that requires you to restart the brush when moving from upright to normal position. some vacuums have this.
