My Backlights work fine, but screen is black.

I was working on a 55lf6000-UD television, i had just replaced the LED strips(Flashing issue) but when I got it back together, the screen had lines and was going all white. (As far as I’m aware, I didn’t crack the screen) I was bending over the tv, with a hoodie on, and , (drumroll please) my metal hoodie sting aglets shorted the power supply. so i ordered a new one.

Now, i have the tv on, was expecting the white screen which i was hoping the OK & EXIT trick would work on, but instead the backlights are on, but the screen is completly off, barely some light bleeds from the corners. Im lost on this, all my ribbon cables are snug. what could my problem be? Main Board fried during the shortage? TCon gone bad?

White Screen is back, i tried the EXIT & OK but no success. I have a twin TV that I will pull the Tcon from to test on the TV in question.

Swapped Tcon. Still white screen with some lines. I can also clearly see the 4 quadrants of the screen in slight offsets of white if that helps.

if you have no video is is most commonly the main board. After all, all video processing is being done on that board.

I swapped the Tcon board & main board and still White screen.

I think I may have done something to the LCD itself, although there aren't any visible cracks or bleeding, the lines lead me to believe this.

I am sorry I did not realize you replaced the main board as well. Yes, the only thing left is your panel. so it could have gotten damaged. Post some pictures of what it looks like with your question. Adding images to an existing question
