How can I reset rca tablet that cant power off froze on android scteen

My rca tablet is stuck on rca android screen. Cannot power off. I have to let battery die to turn off. Tried the power volume button approach but went right to rca androind screen

Options

If the home screen is frozen usually what I do is hold down the power button and mine powers off. Hope this helps!
