I have this same problem. Repair guy has been out 3 times & its still doing it. My coils are spotless. I always keep them clean. There's hardly any air flow thru the vent from my freezer to my fridge. He said he fixed it. But yet its still doing it He supposedly replaced the sensor as well.

It’s an alarm for high temperature. You can push the temperature setting and it should go off, but it will come back as long as the tempature is too high. Try cleaning the coils under the refrigerator. You can refer to your owners manual for what regular maintenance needs to be done to keep your refrigerator cooling properly.

A friend said it was the air damper so I replaced it but it’s still doing it

You’d need to check the temperature.

Clean condenser coils.

Check the evaporator fan and condenser fan, they should be running when the compressor is running.

Check for ice/frost forming on rear wall .
