Battery drains from 40 to 25% and than in a few seconds to 1%-0%

Hello,

I have problem with my iPhone 8 battery. Since housing and charging port replacement, my iPhone starts to turn off randomly, even if battery percentage was 70%. I thought, that an original battery was damaged during the process (which surely was), so I decided to buy a new one. After replacement, everything seems to be OK, phone works perfectly at 100-50%, but around 50%, battery very fast drops to 40, then drops to 25% in a few seconds and then drops to 1% and 0%.

Should I try to replace battery again?

Where could be the problem?

Options

Most likely pry damage near screen / battery connector on the logic board. Perhaps some small IC components may have gotten knocked off or damaged when the cables were unplugged.

Is there some way, how to find out, where is the problem and try to fix it?

Look around the battery and screen connectors...look for anything that is damaged or missing. Magnification is preferable.

If you see anything damaged or missing, then it will require a micro-soldering repair.

I did that today with magnifying glass and everything seems to be perfectly fine. No damage or broken parts at all.
