Keyboard replacement A1370 MacBook Air

I have ordered and received the keyboard Ifixit 15117312 which looks right. Based on online video, it appears that I may need an insulator to complete the repair. Where can I get one? Also, do I need screws to replace rivets? And I have received a battery, A1375 to replace my A1406, is this a good replacement?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi

you need this keyboard

MacBook Air 11" (Mid 2011-Early 2015) Keyboard

as long ask you got this keyboard you will be fine

what insulator are you talking about? the keyboard will sit under the backlight, and hence you dont need an insulator.

with the rivits if you take them out correctly, you can add screws that will add a more “original” finish to it

lastly, battery is ok, but the a1406 is a more powerful battery. if you get it exchanged that would be better imo

hope this helps
