Little crack in display bottom bar, does it affects performance?

I recently got this laptop, i was using it and closed it, i didn´t notice that a fiber of my hair brush was in the side, so when i opened it again, there was a small crack in the corner of the display bottom bar of the Mac, i want to know if this little hole is going to affect the performance of my computer later on? Thanks!!

A small crack in the screen won’t impact performance, it is simply cosmetic
