Will a iPhone 3GS connect to itunes with a broken screen

Hiya,

I have a iphone 3gs with a broken screen.

Computer or itunes doesn't connect.

Should phone connect with a broken screen?

Or is the damage more severe?

Would replacing the screen fix it?

simple answer is yes it should connect unless damage is more severe or battery/dock is damaged. try charging with wall charger for an hour or so and then hold home button and then connect to USB on PC whilst still holding home button. try opening the phone and checking all the connections (1-7) to make sure nothing disconnected.
