iPhone 8+ Touch not working

So I replaced the home button on my iPhone 8+. To do that I unhooked the screen and took it off to make it easier. Now that I have everything hooked up the screen comes on, but the touch doesn’t work. I’ve hard reset several times with no help. It’s also the factory screen.

You can’t replace the home button on iPhone 7 and up because Apple has made it impossible to do so without having their special calibration machine to do so which only Apple Authorised Businesses can get.

For touch not working chances are the display cables have been damaged from the screen meaning a screen replacement has to be done, but with a non-functioning home button I would get the screen replaced by apple.
