iTunes will not restore iPod

I recently changed the logic board in my iPod 160GB thick version. When I connect it to restore it gives me the prompt to restore, but then says “There was a problem downloading the software for the ‘iPod’. You do not have permission to access the requested resource”. What does that mean? Do I need to go to some other site to access the restore software? Apple doesn’t support this anymore and is no help. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Figured it out. Was a firewall problem. For some reason there were 4 instances of Bonjour in the firewall and 2 were public and 2 were private. Once I fixed that everything was good and it restored properly.
