Do I need another logic board or some good expertise soldering?

ok so i was trying to diy repair my 6s and i found myself ripping off one of the three connectors. The yellow strip is completely gone off the side one that shapes like an L. the other two are still intact. Also on the new screen i was replacing it with, the yellow connector again got messed up to the point it wouldn’t fit/snap on anymore. what do you guys suggest i should do?

Answer this question I have this problem too

If just the connector broke you could probably get away with some microsoldering work from someone. Personally I’ve sent devices to microsoldering.com and they’ve done good work. I don’t recall their current pricing for something like that but I’d guess $70-$110. Probably still cheaper than most/all replacement logic boards depending on storage and whether or not you want to keep Touch ID.

The soldering would require special equipment, so it probably isn’t a DIY deal.

I'd be concerned about pulled pads. That adds cost and complexity.
