Issue with new screen (No Picture but backlight)

Hi all, i have an iPhone SE which i fitted a new screen on only to find that there is no picture on the screen however backlight still shines. Then i reconnected the old screen, and that still worked. I cleaned the connectors on the new screen and still nothing. The new screen is for a 5S but as far as I’m aware are identical. Thanks in advance

Options

If the original screen still works, then this points to a replacement screen issue. Contact your supplier about a replacement or refund.

I've had issues with aftermarket screens too, some 5S work fine on the SE and some other do not, don't have enough knowledge to tell the reason why, but it's quite common. If it was purchased as a 5S screen I believe the OP would/should have no right to complain.
